Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about FlexCharting.
Partner program
What is the FlexCharting partner program?
It is a managed partner platform that lets you offer professional charting to your audience under your brand while FlexCharting operates the core software, market data, subscriptions, and payments.
Who is the partner program for?
The program is designed for trading educators, academies, paid communities, financial publishers, prop firms, brokers, and platforms with an established audience.
Does FlexCharting sell directly to individual traders?
FlexCharting is partner-led. Subscribers access the charting product through an approved partner experience rather than buying a generic direct-to-consumer plan.
How do partners earn revenue?
Partners receive a percentage of net subscription revenue collected from their subscribers. Revenue share depends on the selected partner plan and qualifying volume.
Is there a long-term commitment?
Commercial terms depend on the implementation. Standard plans generally include a monthly partner commitment, while custom programs may use annual agreements.
How do we get started as a partner?
Schedule a demo so we can review your audience, product goals, branding, data needs, and preferred launch timeline. We will then recommend the right plan and implementation scope.
Branding and product
Can we use our own branding?
Yes. Plans support progressively deeper customization, from co-branded experiences through advanced partner branding and fully white-labeled platforms.
Can we add proprietary indicators or methodology?
Yes. Approved proprietary indicators, preferred defaults, educational workflows, and methodology-specific experiences can be included in your implementation.
Can we control layouts and watchlists for our subscribers?
Yes. Depending on your plan, you can provide curated layouts, partner-created watchlists, saved workspaces, and subscriber defaults.
Does the platform work across devices?
The responsive web platform works across desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. Desktop and mobile applications can also be included in qualifying implementations.
Is single sign-on with our existing system supported?
Single sign-on is available for Scale and qualifying custom plans after a technical review of your identity provider and access model.
Market data
What market data is included?
Standard plans include approved real-time and historical U.S. market data for qualifying non-professional subscribers. Exact coverage is confirmed during implementation.
Are professional-user or exchange fees separate?
Yes. Professional status and certain exchange entitlements may require additional agreements and pass-through fees.
Are options, futures, and international markets supported?
They can be supported through custom data packages, subject to vendor availability, licensing requirements, and applicable exchange fees.
Who is responsible for data licensing with subscribers?
FlexCharting manages the technical entitlement workflow. Partners and subscribers must provide accurate classification information and accept required market-data agreements.
Billing and revenue
How is the monthly partner commitment handled?
The monthly commitment is deducted from the partner's earned revenue share. If earnings are lower than the commitment, the remaining balance is billed according to the agreement.
How is the revenue share calculated?
Revenue share is calculated from net subscription revenue actually collected after refunds, chargebacks, promotional credits, taxes, and reversed payments.
Who processes subscriber payments?
FlexCharting manages the embedded subscription and payment flow for standard partner plans and provides partner reporting for collected revenue.
Can we set our own subscriber pricing?
You can choose pricing within the approved range for your plan. Custom pricing and packaging can be reviewed for larger or specialized programs.
Are there implementation fees?
Yes. One-time implementation fees cover onboarding, configuration, branding, integration, testing, and launch support. Scope varies by plan.
Implementation and support
How long does implementation take?
Standard implementations typically take several weeks. Custom integrations, applications, or data packages may require a longer jointly planned timeline.
What is required from our team?
Your team provides brand assets, product requirements, domain and embed access, content, indicator specifications, and timely approvals during testing.
What support is available after launch?
All partners receive launch and operational support. Priority support, premium support, service-level agreements, and dedicated account management are available by plan.
Is there a staging environment?
Yes. Implementations are validated in a controlled staging environment before subscriber access is enabled in production.
How do we report subscriber or platform issues?
Partners receive a support channel and escalation process during onboarding. Reports should include the affected subscriber, time, route, and steps to reproduce.
